Welcome to the enchanting village of Port-au-Persil, Charlevoix.

Port-au-Persil was named by Samuel de Champlain in the 17th century, because he found a lot of parsley growing here. In the 19th century, Mr. McLaren, an American, and his son founded the village’s Presbyterian church. The chapel was built in 1893 and can still be visited today, as a symbol of Port-au-Persil for all who know this charming community.
